2nd Day, 2nd Week Back

Hi everyone, I'm back! I'm currently rushing out this post with the spare 15 minutes I have before my piano lesson, so please bear with me. Today was relatively boring. Unless you count Debate, where we watched this film called "Paradise Now". It's about the 'war' between Arabs and Jews, and Arabic suicide bombers, (I think they are noble, to a certain extent. Sacrificing their lives for a cause, is something I admit I will never have the guts to do. ) so I feel that the basic background knowledge is needed to understand the film. But that's just me.

Anyways, I wrote this poem during my Chinese Reading Appreciation lesson, so read and enjoy!

Part I of the Seasons Saga-Accumulated Acquired Amassed

A shimmering gleam of the sun’s
Rays on ripened grain.
Like the seeds of golden rain, silently
whirling away in the breeze.

Crunch,
Crunch,
Crunch.

Crisp, papery leaves crinkle; the taste of a withered Hope I once knew.

Note: This was posted last night, but somehow it got into 'Drafts' and so was not published.
